Dr. Hani

Dr. H is a native of Newport Beach California,  growing up with a passion for surfing, skating, and snowboarding.  He completed his undergraduate education at UC Santa Barbara with a major in film studies and subsequently worked in the film and television industry both in New York and Los Angeles. After a few years of working, Dr. H decided to change career paths and pursue his childhood dream of  becoming an orthodontist.  

Dr H. is the only ABO board certified orthodontist in Lafayette and surrounding area. He completed his dental education in 2014 at Indiana University School of Dentistry  graduating with highest distinction and receiving several awards and recognition including:  the OKU Alpha and Omega Award, AAOB Oral Biology Award, William Kramer Award, ADA Dentsply Research Award, and membership in the OKU honor Society. After dental school, Dr. H  completed his residency at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland Oregon. The residency has given Dr. H exposure to several techniques and procedures including working with mini implants, soft tissue laser and Propel systems. Patients describe Dr. H as a fun, dedicated, detail oriented person with an eagerness to learn.

Outside of orthodontics Dr. H enjoys spending time with his wife Judi and two daughters, Emri and Zowie. He loves going to concerts, playing guitar, trying new restaurants, hiking, bouldering and most outdoor activities. Dr. H is excited for the opportunity to work with you!
